More Black Art about More Black Ish..Art Fund (MBA) is a not for profit organization serving emerging black artists. MBA was formed to fill what its founders perceive as a huge gap in the American and International arts landscape, given the contribution of African and Diaspora art and aesthetics to the modern artistic canon.
We provide a number of programs and produce events and exhibitions for the benefit of artists and audiences alike. MBA is hosting its first exhibition at the end of 2009 (details TBA).
More Black Art is seeking to establish partnerships with galleries, museums, other non-profits, and artist collectives. MBA is also actively recruiting interns, volunteers and a number of other qualified individuals to help implement exciting and innovative program offerings.
